Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) said on Wednesday that it had won an order to supply and install 94.4 MW of its wind turbines for a project in Spain’s region of Aragon.
Details about the project and the customer were withheld.
The German wind turbine maker is to deliver and install 16 units of the N163/5.X machines from its Delta4000 series. The turbines will be installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 108 metres. The main components for this order will be made in the Nordex factories in Spain, the group said.
Installation is scheduled for the summer of 2024.
Nordex will also maintain the turbines under a five-year Premium Service contract, with an option to extend it by another ten years.
