Jun 26, 2014 - NJR Clean Energy Ventures, part of US energy services group New Jersey Resources (NYSE:NJR), said on Thursday it had completed its 9.7-MW Two Dot wind park in the state of Montana.
The wind farm, which took up a total investment of about USD 22 million (EUR 16.2m), comprises six 1.62-MW turbines supplied by General Electric Co (NYSE:GE).
Two Dot will be producing enough power to cover the annual electricity needs of some 3,000 homes. The generated electricity and the renewable attributes will be sold to utility NorthWestern Energy under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
NJR Clean Energy expects the wind park to receive federal production tax credits (PTC), which will be used by its parent.
