Dec 5, 2012 - Taiwanese solar cell maker Neo Solar Power Corp (TPE:3576), or NSP, today said its revenues for November registered a 33.31% year-on-year drop to TWD 790 million (USD 27.2m/EUR 20.8m).
In month-on-month terms revenue gained 1.67%. For more than a year, Neo Solar's results have been affected by tough conditions on the global solar market.
Sales for the 11 months through November amounted to TWD 11.48 billion, marking a decline of 42.33% when compared to the same period of 2011.
Last month, Neo Solar and domestic peer DelSolar Co (TPE:3599) said they intended to consolidate their solar cell and module manufacturing operations. Such a merger would create a capacity to produce nearly 2 GW of solar cells and 240 MW of solar modules.
