Montenegrin Cos Eye Bulgarian Power Supplies – Bulgarian Energy Min
SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 1 (SeeNews) – Large Montenegrin industrial companies have shown interest in buying electricity for their needs directly from Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Energy Ministry said on Friday.
One of the companies is an aluminium plant, the ministry said in a statement, quoting Energy Minister Traicho Traikov.
Traikov has also proposed to Montenegrin Economy Minister Vladimir Kavaric that Bulgarian hydro power experts, builders and equipment suppliers take part in the expansion of the country's hydro electricity sector.
The bilateral discussions were held as part of a working visit by a Bulgarian government delegation to Montenegro.
