Mexico Nafin mulls USD 19.2m for renewables in Coahuila - report
Jun 16, 2014 - Mexican development bank Nacional Financiera (Nafin) evaluates financing of MXN 250 million (USD 19.2m/EUR 14.1m) for three renewable energy projects in Coahuila state, the bank's local representative, Luis Reyna Ortiz, said, quoted by daily Vanguardia on Friday.
The projects include a wind farm between the cities of General Cepeda and Parras de la Fuente, a solar park in the La Laguna region and a plant at the Saltillo landfill. The wind farm has requested the largest amount, Reyna said, without giving details.
In addition, some of the projects still need grid connection contracts and approvals from authorities or end customers.
