Green Investment Group Ltd (GIG), part of Australia’s Macquarie Group Ltd (ASX:MQG), said that it has acquired the 25.3-MW Jozwin wind farm in Poland.
The wind farm was sold by Polish renewables company Vortex Energy Polska and German construction business Max Boegl International SE.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Jozwin wind farm is located some 3 kilometres (1.86 miles) north of the namesake village and 200 kilometres west of Warsaw. The site is populated with nine GE wind turbines, which have been in operation for almost five years, GIG said.
