Macedonia's ELEM seeks equipment suppliers for HPP Boskov Most – EBRD
SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 8 (SeeNews) – Macedonian state-owned power producer ELEM has called a tender for the supply of electromechanical equipment for hydro power project Boskov Most, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which is backing the project, said on Thursday.
The bidding deadline is January 16, 2013, the multilateral lender said in a statement.
The mechanical equipment and services that should be procured include, among other items, design and conduction of hydraulic model test; production, assembly and commissioning of two vertical Francis turbines, two turbine inlet valves and turbine auxiliary equipment; production, assembly and commissioning of cranes, a HVAC system for the HPP’s powerhouse, one diesel set, one unit for small hydro power plant Tresonce as well as supply of special tools, accessories and spare parts.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of 375,000 euro ($478,010).
The 70 megawatt Boskov Most power station is located near the western town of Debar.
