Kosovo’s Q3 power output falls 32.6% q/q

PRISTINA (Kosovo), December 18 (SeeNews) – Kosovo's power plants generated 918.4 gigawatthours (GWh) of electricity in the third quarter of the year, down 32.6% from the second quarter of 2014, the country's statistics agency said on Thursday.

As much as 889.6 GWh of the produced electricity in the three-month period was generated by thermal power plants and the rest came from hydropower, the statistics agency said in a quarterly report published on its website.

In the third quarter of 2014 Kosovo imported 337.1 GWh of electricity and exported 1.4 GWh.
