KDC Solar commissions 3.25-MW solar project in New Jersey
Nov 22, 2011 - New Jersey-based KDC Solar LLC yesterday said it had completed a 3.25-MW rooftop solar project at a warehouse in Cranbury, New Jersey.
An opening ceremony was held last week.
The installation is expected to produce some 3.92 million kWh annually and is designed to fully meet the electricity demand of the warehouse of United Stationers Supply Co, a US wholesale distributor of business products.
KDC Solar, which focuses on constructing and operating "behind-the-meter" solar projects of at least 2 MW, contracted SunDurance Energy LLC to install the system.
The installation features more than 21,000 panels made by China's Trina Solar.
