John Laing Enviro Assets reports H1 NAV of GBP 1.012 p/s

John Laing Environmental Assets Group Ltd (LON:JLEN) on Thursday reported a net asset value (NAV) per share of GBP 1.012 (USD 1.55/EUR 1.45) as at September 30, unchanged from six month earlier after adjustment for dividends.

For the first half of the 2015/16 financial year, the UK environmental infrastructure fund recorded a pre-tax profit of GBP 6.2 million.

At the end of the period, the valuation of the fund's portfolio, which includes wind, solar and waste management and waste water assets, was GBP 217.6 million, compared to GBP 197.7 million at the end of March. The capacity of the renewable energy assets was 103.1 MW. The company said its portfolio has delivered satisfactory performance, with wind assets being affected by variable wind conditions and lower wholesale electricity prices.

It declared interim dividend of GBP 0.03027 for the six months, in line with its dividend policy.

JLEN said it continued to seek suitable projects to add to its portfolio both from John Laing and third parties.
