JinkoSolar lifts 2015 module shipments forecast to 4 GW-4.5 GW

China’s JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) on Thursday revised upwards its previous guidance for total solar module shipments of 3.3 GW-3.8 GW for the full 2015 to a range of 4 GW to 4.5 GW.
The new 2015 forecast includes module shipments to third parties of between 3.4 GW and 3.7 GW compared to prior estimates for 2.7 GW-3 GW.
In the third quarter alone, JinkoSolar expects to ship between 1 GW and 1.1 GW of solar modules, including 900 MW to 950 MW of deliveries to third parties and 100 MW-150 MW to own downstream projects.
During the second quarter of the year, the company saw its total solar product shipments to third parties jump to 915 MW compared to 659.5 MW a year earlier. The Q2 2015 amount includes 823 MW of solar modules, 59.5 MW of silicon wafers and 32.5 MW of solar cells.
