JinkoSolar eyes 1.4 GW of Q4 module shipments to third parties

Chinese solar products maker JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) on Thursday guided for fourth-quarter (Q4) module shipments to third parties of up to 1.4 GW and also revised upwards its full-year forecast.
For the final quarter of the year, JinkoSolar expects to register total solar module shipments of between 1.4 GW and 1.7 GW, including 1.2 GW to 1.4 GW of module shipments to third parties. This compares to roughly 1.1 GW of module shipments reported for the third quarter of 2015.
The company also updated its projections for the full year and now anticipates to record total solar module shipments of between 4.2 GW and 4.5 GW, including 3.8 GW to 4.0 GW of module shipments to third parties. Its prior forecast was for a range of 4 GW to 4.5 GW, including module shipments to third parties of between 3.4 GW and 3.7 GW.
In addition, the firm expects to hook 600 MW to 800 MW of solar power capacity to the grid this year.
