May 30 (Renewables Now) - Japanese glass and glazing systems supplier Nippon Sheet Glass Co Ltd (TYO:5202), also known as NSG Group, announced last week the start of operation of a 1.4-MW solar array at its Rossford facility in Ohio.

Under a power purchase agreement (PPA) with a unit of US utility American Electric Power Co Inc (NASDAQ:AEP), the new photovoltaic (PV) installation will supply 2.5 million kWh of clean electricity per year to NSG Group for more than 20 years.
