Italy's renewables meet 33% of demand in Feb

March 20 (Renewables Now) - Renewable energy sources produced roughly 8.6 TWh of power in February, meeting 33% of Italy’s monthly electricity demand, according to statistics released by power grid operator Terna SpA.

So far in 2020, renewables were behind 36.6% of net national production with a generation output of 16.8 TWh.
