TouchWind, a Dutch start-up developing floating wind technology with one-piece rotors, is currently assembling 10 prototype turbines for a project focused on positive wake effects. One of the turbines will be tested on water and is expected to be installed in October at Fieldlab Green Economy Westvoorne on Oostvoornse Lake in the Netherlands. Dutch rotor blade designer We4Ce recently said it had designed 10 blade sets for the test campaign.
