GSSG Solar secures funds for 4.75 MW of PV schemes
Aug 8, 2014 - US solar investment and consulting firm GSSG Solar LLC said yesterday it had completed debt and equity financing for 4.75 MW of photovoltaic (PV) projects in the state of Colorado.
The funds will support seven ground-mounted schemes, the given capacity of which is in direct current (DC), in the Denver metro area. Denver-based Oak Leaf Energy Partners is the project developer, while GSSG provided advisory services to the firm.
Details on the investment were not disclosed.
All of the seven facilities are currently operational and the last one was connected to the power grid in July, GSSG said. The PV plants' output is estimated to be enough for about 1,200 households in Colorado. It is being supplied to the Denver International Airport, the Colorado Department of Corrections, the City of Greeley and others.
