Danish electrolyser maker Green Hydrogen Systems A/S (CPH:GREENH) said today it has received an order to deliver 0.9 MW of electrolysers for the production of green hydrogen in Norway.
The deal, the value of which was not disclosed, was awarded by Norwegiangas technology solutions provider Liquiline. Under its terms, the Danish firm will deliver two GHS HyProvide A90 electrolysers that will be deployed in a container as a complete green hydrogen plant.
The electrolysers will be operated by Liquiline and Alltec Services, while the end customer is Energy House, part of Sustainable Energy-Norwegian Catapult Centre at Stord -- a test site for green energy carriers. Apart from delivering the electrolysers, Green Hydrogen Systems will also provide on-site maintenance and remote monitoring for three years.
The systems will be put on stream in the second quarter of 2022 and are expected to produce about 389 kg of green hydrogen per day.
The contract is Green Hydrogen Systems’ first order for electrolysers in Norway, the company noted. Last week, it will supply two electrolyser units totalling 0.9 MW to Octopus Hydrogen in the UK for the production of green hydrogen from solar energy.
