Greece's PPC Renewables seeks contractor for 30-MW wind farm

May 10 (Renewables Now) - PPC Renewables SA, a unit of Greek utility PPC SA (ATH:PPC), on Wednesday announced a tender for the construction of a 30-MW wind farm in central Greece.

The company is seeking a party to design, procure, transport, install and commission the wind farm in Aeras, Mouzaki municipality and Afentiko, Argitheas municipality, along with a 400/20 kV high-voltage substation.

The total indicative cost of the contract is EUR 43.15 million (USD 51.3m), plus value added tax (VAT).   

The project also includes the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the wind farm for a period of 14 years, worth EUR 9.1 million, and 10 years of O&M for the two digital control systems of the substation, worth EUR 200,000. Both figures do not include VAT.
