PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 8 (SeeNews) – Germany’s wpd group is set to hold talks with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Gjukanovic on Thursday about its plans to invest over 200 million euro ($266 million) in wind parks in the country, Podgorica-based media reported.
The company plans to build wind parks at two locations in Montenegro, in Budva and Ulcinj, broadcaster RTCG (www.rtcg.me) said on Wednesday, quoting wpd project manager Andreas Chollet.
wpd (www.wpd.de) also operates three wind farms in Croatia. The third one, located in Ponikve, was opened in October 2012, the company said on its website.
wpd is a developer and operator of wind farms with operations in 20 countries, including also Bulgaria and Romania.
