US-based solar racking manufacturer GameChange Solar announced last Friday that it will be supplying Genius Trackers for a group of projects totalling 2.3 GW in the state of Florida.
Derick Botha, chief commercial officer at GameChange Solar, said that the company has managed to win these contracts because of the systems’ ability to withstand wind speeds in excess of 150 mph.
A month ago, the company announced it had expanded its US-based annual production capacity for key structural systems to 24 GW to cater to rising demand at home.
