Nov 22, 2011 - Spanish renewable energy group Fersa Energias Renovables (MCE:FRS) told the national stock market regulator CNMV yesterday that it had sold for EUR 10.7 million (USD 14.4m) its subsidiary Empordavent that holds the 48 MW Escambrons wind farm.
The transaction supposes a capital gain of EUR 7 million.
In turn, Fersa's units -- Fersa India and En Wind Power Private Limited, have signed an agreement with their supplier in India. The deal envisages the installation of 20 MW. Furthermore, Fersa will disburse some EUR 10 million for the construction of 80 MW in the country, as part of the settlement.
