EQM Technologies cuts Q2 loss ot USD 200,000

Aug 13, 2013 - US company EQM Technologies & Energy Inc (PINK:EQTE) on Tuesday said it had narrowed its second-quarter 2013 net loss to USD 200,000 (EUR 151,000) from USD 1.2 million a year earlier.

Loss per share was zero in the period, compared with USD 0.03, the environmental services provider and biodiesel producer added.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) from continuing operations doubled to USD 400,000 from USD 200,000.

EQM’s revenue in April-June improved to USD 14.2 million from USD 12.3 million.

In the first six months of this year, the company saw its net loss expand to USD 1.5 million from USD 700,000. Revenue from continuing operations eased to USD 22.1 million from USD 24.2 million in the same period of 2012.

EQM is active in a number of industries with a focus on environmental services such as consulting and engineering, clean technology, and remediation and construction management.
