E.on to present 78-MW Scottish wind scheme to locals
Sep 30, 2014 - German utility E.on SE (ETR:EOA) said today it will present to locals the changes it has made to the 78.2-MW Enoch Hill wind project in Scotland.
The Enoch Hill wind farm will be located in Scotland’s East Ayrshire. The plans envisage the erection of between 20 and 23 turbines.
The company will hold two public presentations on October 7 and 8 at the Dalmellington Community Centre and the New Cumnock Community Centre, respectively.
Aiming to understand the concerns of the locals, as well as to receive feedback from them, the company held similar public information days in November 2012. As a result, E.on promised to take into account their visibility and proximity concerns when installing the equipment, as well as the environmental impact of all wind farms in the region.
