The output of EDP Renovaveis SA's (ELI:EDPR) renewable power plants has increased by 5% year-on-year to 16.2 TWh in the first half of 2019.
Data released by the company on Wednesday shows that the most significant increase in year-on-year terms was achieved in Brazil, where the company's generation rose by 66% to 697 GWh.
Production in Europe, outside Portugal and Spain, went up 9% to 1,967 GWh. Further details on EDPR's global generation, in GWh, are available in the table below.
As of June 2019, EDPR managed a total renewables portfolio of 11.8 GW in 11 countries, of which 5.5 GW are in Europe and the remaining in the Americas.
