EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced today its renewable power plants' generation went up by 16% year-on-year to 17.8 TWh in the first half of 2022.
According to the company's report, the growth came because of higher installed capacity with stable and improved resources in its major markets.

During the period in question, EDPR added 0.6 GW, with the integration of assets from the recent acquisition of Singapore-based solar firm Sunseap. Asset rotation amounted to 0.3 GW in Europe.
As of July 14, the renewables company has a total installed capacity of 13.8 GW, with Europe and North America accounting for 40% and 51%, respectively. The firm currently has 3.2 GW of new capacity under construction, a record level, it noted.
