French power utility EDF (EPA:EDF) last week issued a EUR-1.75 billion (USD 1.94bn) green bond alongside other financing instruments in several currencies.
The green bond is the company’s third one and comes with a 10-year maturity and a fixed coupon of 1%. EDF said that this is the largest Euro Green tranche to date. It has now issued the equivalent of over EUR 4 billion in green bonds over the past three years to back renewables.
