Dutch Raedthuys offers EUR-500,000 bonds for wind farm Suurhoffbrug
Dec 6, 2013 - Dutch renewable energy firm Raedthuys said Friday it had made available 1,000 bonds of EUR 500 (USD 683.3) each to local residents and firms interested to invest in its wind farm Suurhoffbrug in Rotterdam.
Bond offering started on November 29. Individuals and businesses from the municipalities of Rotterdam, Brielle and Westvoorne have priority in the subscription and will get a higher coupon of 6% a year instead of 5%.
The wind farm, which consists of four turbines, is already operational but its official opening is scheduled for the spring of 2014. It is expected to supply about 8,400 households a year.
