Jul 21, 2011 - Austrian utility company EVN AG (WBAG:EVN) has opened a 1,995 kWp photovoltaic (PV) plant near the city of Burgas, Bulgaria.
The company has invested EUR 5 million (USD 7.2m) in the facility, which will be capable of producing 2.4 million kWh electricity per year.
The current plant is the second solar project of EVN in Bulgaria. Last year, the Austrian company invested EUR 3 million in a PV project in the village of Blatets.
