China's NDRC endorses 122 MW solar project in Romania

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said it has approved a project for the construction of a 122-megawatt solar power plant in Romania.

"In August 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission approved Hefei Hairun Solar Technology Ltd. to invest in building a 122-megawatt photovoltaic power plant project in Romania," the commission said in a statement posted on its website earlier this week.

NDRC, China's top economic planning agency, also approved two other solar projects, to be implemented in Greece and Italy, it said in a separate statement.
