China's Haraeon to launch 82 MW solar park in Romania by yr-end - media
Romanian company Green Vision Seven, indirectly controlled by China's solar panel supplier Haraeon, will connect to the grid a 82 megawatt (MW) solar park in Romania's central county of Brasov by the end of the year, Bucharest-based media reported on Friday.
The investment in the park exceeds 100 million euro ($135.3 million), of which 83 million Hareon borrowed from China Development Bank, financial daily Ziarul Financiar said.
"The first part of this project, of 55 MW, is currently undergoing tests and the rest of 27 MW is under construction. The park will be operational by the end of the year," Ziarul Financiar quoted Green Vision Seven manager Jurgen Andreas Faff as saying.
The construction of the park started in April and lasted for four months. It will be Romania's largest photovoltaic park in terms of installed capacity.
