Nov 5, 2012 - China Longyuan Power Group Co (HKG:0916) said today its wind power generation for October had jumped by 29.95% year-on-year to 1,590,731 MWh.
Total power output for the month was 2,377,371 MWh, up 9.76% on an annual basis.
Longyuan's other renewable energy installations generated 45,443 MWh, or 193.88% more than a year ago, whereas its coal-fired power plants booked a 19.99%-decline in output to 741,197 MWh.
In January-October, the company boosted its total power generation by 11.47% on the year to 23,128,207 MWh, and registered an increase of 23.98% in its wind power output to 13,375,332 MWh.
