Jul 8, 2014 - Power producer China Longyuan Power Group Corp Ltd (HKG:0916) said Monday its wind power output for June 2014 decreased by 12.25% year-on-year to 1,390,310 MWh.
Based on preliminary statistics, China Longyuan's total power generation for the month dropped by 12.26% to 2,200,841 MWh as the group also saw a 12.06% fall in coal power production to 749,023 MWh. Other renewable energy output dropped by 14.77% to 61,508 MWh.
The biggest contribution from the wind segment came from the company's Inner Mongolia wind parks, despite a 27.13% fall in output to 242,170 MWh.
China Longyuan's year-to-date power generation went up by 0.27% to 16,730,140 MWh, with wind power production rising by 4.86% to 11,623,600 MWh.
