State-owned power producer China Guodian Corp (CGC) has recently made progress on twelve wind projects totalling 1,693.4 MW, as announced on its website over the past month and a half.

The company’s main wind unit, power producer China Longyuan Power Group Corp Ltd (HKG:0916), accounts for 896.4 MW of the schemes. The subsidiary’s total installed capacity as at June 30, 2015 stood at over 16.72 GW, 14.57 GW of which is wind.
Beijing-based CGC develops, invests, builds, operates and manages power generation assets. It is also active in the transportation segment, environmental protection, technological services and consultancy businesses.
