Chile's Verano Tres seeks permit to install 46.8-MWp solar plant
Dec 23, 2013 - Chilean renewable energy developer Energia Renovable Verano Tres SpA, via local environmental consultancy Aple, on Friday requested environmental permit for the construction of 46.8 MWp photovoltaic (PV) solar park.
The project, named Punta del Viento, will supply power to Chile's main power network SIC. It will be located in the Elqui Valley, central Chile.
The project's total cost is estimated at USD 96 million (EUR 70.2m).
