German solar and wind park operator Capital Stage AG (ETR:CAP) on Monday acquired a 7.5-MW wind park in Germany from family-owned Unlimited Energy GmbH and Germany-based power plant project manager GP Joule.
The total investment is about EUR 18 million (USD 20.3m), with the existing project financing being retained, Capital Stage said. The acquisition brings to more than 500 MW the capacity of the company's portfolio, consisting of solar and wind power plants in Germany, France, Italy and the UK.
The 7.5-MW wind facility is part of the Wahlsdorf-Dahme wind park in Brandenburg. It хас three wind turbines and is due to be connected to the grid in the first quarter of 2016. The wind farm will receive a feed-in tariff (FiT) of EUR 0.0869 per kWh till the end of 2035 and is expected to бринг revenues of about EUR 1.7 million ин its first full year of operation.
