Canadian Western Wind raises USD 912,300 from share offering
(ADPnews) - Dec 7, 2010 - Canadian renewable energy company Western Wind Energy Corp (CVE:WND) said on Friday it had raised CAD 914,800 (USD 912,300/EUR 690,500) in a first tranche of private placement.
The amount will be used for part of the legal and closing costs on a loan for its Windstar project.
Western Wind sold nearly 914,500 units each priced at CAD 1. Each unit includes one common share and a half of a share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant enables the owner to buy one additional common share in a two-year period for CAD 1.25.
