SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's state-owned National Electricity Company, NEK, has launched a 3.57 million levs (2 million euro/1.8 million euro) tender for the update of the project design of Yadenitsa dam, in the southwest of the country.
The contract envisages the preparation of technical papers and supervision of the construction works, tender papers posted on NEK's website earlier this month indicated.
The construction of Yadenitsa dam will increase the volume of the lower reservoir of Chaira pumped-storage hydro power plant (HPP) Chaira.
The price offered will have 50% weight in the final assessment of the bids, as other factors to be taken into consideration will be the bidder's technical expertise and the suggested timeframe for the completion of the project.
The offers will be opened on September 28.
Bidders should pay a guarantee of 35,000 levs.
