Bulgarian Building Materials Co MKM BG Group Signs Three Deals at Plovdiv Fair

SOFIA (Bulgaria), September 26 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian building materials company MKM BG Group signed on Monday three deals at an ongoing fair in the local city of Plovdiv, the press centre of the fair said.

Under a deal with the Russian Energy Agency, the Bulgarian company will work on a 100 million euro ($135 million) project for a gated residential community that will be energy self-sufficient, incorporating biogas-fuelled electricity and steam-generation systems, waste recycling installations, hothouses, animal farms and wood-working facilities, the press centre of the International Technical Fair said.

A 25 million euro contract that MKM BG Group signed with the Russian Chuvash Republic includes the construction of a waste recycling plant and residential units.

The Bulgarian company also signed a 60 million euro preliminary deal to provide construction services employing proprietary energy efficiency technology, the statement said.

Sofia-based MKM BG Group was set up in 2001.
