Brazil energy min includes 28.8-MW wind plant in REIDI
Oct 31, 2012 - Brazil's ministry of mines and energy yesterday included the 28.8-MW wind power plant EOL Nossa Senhora de Fatima, located in the northeastern Ceara state, in the government's incentive regime for infrastructure development REIDI.
Also, the ministry included in the regime the 940-KW hydro plant CGH Bertoldo Jacobsen, located in the Santa Catarina state.
Other wind plant included in REIDI were the 28.8 MW wind EOL Ventos do Norte 7 in the Maranhao state, and the 30.6-MW EOL Junco I, 16-MW EOL Santa Catarina, 19.2-MW EOL Sao Clemente and 19.2-MW EOL Jandaia I, all located in Ceara state.
REIDI, launched in 2007, grants tax incentives to companies investing in infrastructure projects in the transportation, ports, energy, sanitation and irrigation sectors.
