Bosnia's Trnovo municipality launches SHPP concession tenders

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 24 (SeeNews) – Bosnia's Trnovo municipality said it has launched two concession tenders for the construction of small hydro power plants (SHPPs) Hrasnica and Kijevo 2.

The investment costs for SHPPs Hrasnica and Kijevo 2 are seen at 3 million marka ($1.6 million/1.5 million euro) and 1.8 million marka, respectively, the municipal authorities said in a public notice on Monday.

Hrasnica will have an installed capacity of 250 kW and is expected to produce 1 million kWh of electricity annually. Kijevo 2 will operate 242 kW of capacity, producing 1.2 million kWh a year.

Both concessions will be granted for a period of up to 30 years.

Trnovo is situated south of Sarajevo.
