SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 26 (SeeNews) – Bosnian state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda BiH (EPBiH) has launched a tender for the supply of 15 wind turbines and engineering works as it moves towards the construction of a 48 MW wind park, the utility said on Thursday.
The tender, launched last week, is divided into three lots which will be awarded separately - the supply of 15 wind turbines, the construction of a substation and accompanying equipment and the development of the wind farms internal roads and crane platforms, it reads in the tender documentation made available to SeeNews by the company's spokesperson.
The deadline for the submission of tenders is August 18. All bids must be accompanies by a 1 million euro ($1.1 million) tender security.
The Podvelezje wind farm, to be located in Mostar, is worth an estimated 162 million euro. Germany's KfW has approved a 65 million euro loan for its implementation.
The park, with an annual output of 120 gigawatt-hours, is planned to go live by December 31, 2018, EPBiH said earlier this month.
The municipality of Mostar is located in Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia. The other is the Serb Republic.
