Bosnian hydropower complex Hidroelektrane na Drini [BANJ:HEDR-R-A] said on Monday it turned to a loss of 4.3 million marka ($2.6 million/2.2 million euro) in the first half of 2017 from 516,831 profit in the like period of last year.
Operating income dropped 43.5% on the year to 9.1 million marka through June, while operating costs fell 14.9% to an equal 13.7 million marka, Hidroelektrane na Drini said in a filing with the Banja Luka bourse.
Hidroelektrane na Drini is based in the eastern part of the Serb Republic, which together with the Muslim-Croat Federation forms Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The complex, with an installed capacity of 315 MW, is one of three hydro power groups in the Serb Republic. The other two are located on the banks of the Trebisnjica and Vrbas rivers.
