SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 28 (SeeNews) - The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation rose to 548 GWh in June, from 469 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.
Electricity imports dropped to 58 GWh in June from 68 GWh a year earlier, while exports rose to 111 GWh from 63 GWh, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Tuesday.
The net electricity output of hydro power plants increased to 149 GWh in June, from 141 GWh in the same month of 2020, while the output of thermal power plants rose to 384 GWh from 328 GWh.
On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's net electricity output in June was higher than May's 519 GWh.
Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports rose 5.5% in June, while exports fell 40.3%.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
