Bosnia's EPBiH Gets Green Light for Building Gorovnik Hydro Power Plant
The environment ministry of Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation has allowed local power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] to start the construction of the 3.93 megawatt Gorovnik hydro power plant.
The power plant, to be located on the Neretvica river, will produce 16.4 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity per year, Elektroprivreda BiH said in a statement on its website.
EPBiH operates in the Muslim-Croat Federation, which together with the Serb Republic makes up Bosnia. A second power utility, Elektroprivreda HZ HB, operates in the Federation, while a third one, Elektroprivreda RS, is active in the Serb Republic
