Jun 30, 2022 16:51 CESTSARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), April 13 (SeeNews) - The environment ministry of Bosnia's Federation said it has received a request from power utility Elektroprivreda BiH [SAJ:JPESR] to conduct a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) of a project for the construction of 12.2 MW hydro power plant (HPP) on the river Bosna.
The Kovanici HPP will generate 58.53 GWh of energy per year, the ministry said in a notice on Tuesday.
The public can examine the request and submit an opinion within 30 days from its announcement.
The Federation and the Serb Republic are two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
