Bosnian hydro power plant group Trebisnjica posted a net loss of 563,839 marka ($428,710/288,589 euro) in the first nine months of 2009 compared to a net profit of 1.5 million marka a year earlier.

Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici’s assets totalled 1.008 billion marka at the end of September, up from 1.006 billion marka at the end of 2008.
Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici, comprising three hydropower plants along the Trebisnjica river, is located in the southern part of the Serb Republic, which together with the Muslim-Croat Federation forms post-wa Bosnia.
The complex is one of three hydropower plant groups in the Serb Republic. The other two groups are located along the Drina and Vrbas rivers.
The Serb Republic has also two coal mine and power plant complexes: Ugljevik, in northeastern Bosnia, and Gacko, in southern Bosnia.
