Bosnian Hydro Power Complex Hidroelektrane na Neretvi Exceeds 2010 Output Plan

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 5 (SeeNews) – Bosnian hydro power complex Hidroelectrane na Neretvi has slightly exceeded its 1,478.4 megawatt hours production plan for the whole year in the beginning of this month, its head said on Tuesday.

“There is no doubt that considering the current hydrological conditions we will exceed this year’s plan by at least 25%-30%,” the company's director, Adis Bubalo, said in a statement.

The complex on the Neretva river in southern Bosnia consists of three plants – Jablanica, Salakovac and Grabovica. They have a combined installed capacity of 447 megawatts.

The plants operate in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two autonomous parts of postwar Bosnia. The other is the Serb Republic.
