February 17 (Renewables Now) - Swiss green power producer Aventron AG on Monday announced revenues of CHF 105.2 million (USD 107.1m/EUR 98.9m) for 2019, up from CHF 94.2 million the previous year and topping CHF 100 million for the first time.

According to the company's unaudited results, it booked earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of CHF 32.4 million, 15% higher than in 2018, with an EBIT margin of 30.8%.

Aventron's portfolio of wind, solar and small hydropower plants saw its capacity increase by 69 MW last year to 545 MW, mainly thanks to an under-construction solar park in Bargas, Spain, with a capacity of around 50 MW.

"In view of the existing, solid project pipeline, Aventron expects to reach its interim goal of a renewable energy production portfolio of 600 MW by the end of 2020. Our next target is 750 MW by 2023," noted CEO Antoine Millioud.

Aventron will release its audited consolidated financial statements on March 25, 2020.
