Oct 14, 2013 - Swedish onshore wind farms developer Arise AB (STO:ARISE) said today its third-quarter 2013 wind power output had jumped 75% year-on-year to 104,500 MWh.
The result includes 7,100 MWh from leased plants.
In September alone the company produced some 36,600 MWh, leased wind farms included. That compares to 27,200 MWh a year ago and to 33,000 MWh in August 2013.
Arise expects to reach full capacity this month at the three-turbine Stjarnarp wind park in southwestern Sweden that started power generation in September. The park is situated in the same area as Arise’s Skogaby and Bohult wind farm projects. The three facilities will have 15 turbines together and a combined capacity of 25.4 MW. They will be able to generate about 87,000 GWh of electricity annually, once competed.
