Vattenfall, Preem to study use of offshore wind-based H2 in refining
Jun 27, 2022 17:41 CESTTIRANA (Albania), January 11 (SeeNews) – Albania's state-owned power corporation KESH applied for a building permit for the construction of a 5.143 megawatt peak (MWp) solar park in the northern part of the country, the energy ministry said.
The solar park will be located at the Qyrsaqi dam of Vau i Dejes hydro power plant, the energy ministry said in a statement on Friday.
The ministry provided no details on the cost and timetable of the project.
Albania produces over 90% of its electricity from hydropower plants, most of which are located along the Drin river, in the northern part of the country.
